Principal's Message
Welcome to Verdigris Jr. High School! Our junior high school is an exciting place to grow and learn. We have designed the junior high school to be a “bridge” for transition from the elementary to the high school. Our expectations for students academically, socially and athletically will hopefully make them more independent and ready to take on the challenges of high school.
Our excellent staff is committed to providing the best possible learning experience for our students while in our care. We are especially proud of the many opportunities for students outside of the classroom in both academic areas and sports.
We encourage all parents to become an active part of their junior high school. There are numerous opportunities for volunteering and participating in school activities. For more information regarding any middle school program or activity, please call the office at 918-266-2336, or email me at ahushbeck@vps.k12.ok.us.
Let's have a wonderful year, and It's a good day to be a CARDINAL!
Aaron Hushbeck
Verdigris Jr. High School Principal

Parents: Make sure you drop off your students in the morning back by the junior high gym. If you are dropping off a band student at the band room, be aware that you will have to turn around and exit out the south entrance from where you came in. That is a ONE WAY street in the morning.

At the core of the Oklahoma School Report Cards is the belief that all students can grow and all schools can improve. While no student report card tells the full story of a child, no school report card tells the full story of a school. Education is far more than a single score or letter grade, but it is important that families and communities can see both strengths and areas that need support and improvement.
