Dear Student,

Welcome to 3^rd Grade! I hope you had a fun and relaxing summer. I spent many of my days in classrooms learning. I even got to spend a week at TU! I enjoy learning and being a student, so I will do my best to make learning fun for you, too. Our classroom has been remodeled—just wait until you see how new it looks! We are in room 101, which is right by the office.

To jump start the year, we are having an Open House on Tuesday, August 12, from 5:30 to 6:30. You will be able to choose where you sit for the first day of school, and I will have a special treat waiting on your desk for you. If you have school supplies, please bring them. If you were not able to purchase USA Gold pencils, please sharpen the pencils before you bring them. That would be a huge help to me! Many of you paid for supplies already, but if you did not and don't want to shop, you may bring a check for $45 made to Verdigris Schools.
