Welcome to my new classroom! We will be doing research on 2 different countries every week. I will post 2 new countries every Monday.

You will have two options of how you present your work.

Option #1 - You may type your information and send it to my email. 

Option #2- You can write the information on a piece of paper, take a picture with your phone and send it to my email.

Countries for May 4th - May 8th: South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Vocab words: Life Expectancy, Social Status, Rite of Passage, Griot, Compound, Extended Family, Nuclear Family, Clan, Lineage.

This is the following information I need for EACH country: 

1.Population

2. Capital City

3. Which continent are they located on?

4. List 2 major physical features.

5. List 2 major cities.

6. Name 2 natural resources.

7. What type of climate do they have?

8. Major religion.

9. Type of government.

10. Major language.

11. Name 2 types of ethnic foods they eat.

12. Name 2 mineral resources.

Make sure that you write/type the question or sentence then the answer. Do the best you can! If you have any questions do not hesitate to email me anytime. Please be patient with me on replying to emails. I will answer as soon as I can. If you do not have access to the internet you can pick up a packet and book from the JH office. Just make sure you call first.
